PETG extruding sheet is made from Poly (ethylene terephthalateco-1,4-cylclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate), which is a novel non-crystalline co-polyester combining outstanding transparency and mechanical strength.
Both highly transparent and colored products are available, providing excellent flexibility and weather resistance. PETG sheets can be sawn, die-cut, drilled, punched, riveted, milled , cold-bended and vacuumed. It offers higher transmittance than PC, and much better impact resistance than Acrylic. It is friendly for process like bonding, electroplating, as well as UV cured coating.
Outstanding Features
-High clarity, light transmittance 90%
-Excellent gloss
-Superior chemical resistance when compared with many other transparent plastics
-Cost effective
-Lower cost alternative to polycarbonate
-Easy to fabricate
-Outstanding thermoforming capabilities in deep draw forming
-B1 / Class 1Y / UL 94 HB fire rated
-Excellent fire resistance. Low non-toxic smoke generation
-Suitable for food contact
-Sterilisable
-Surface scratches can easily be removed with a heat gun
-Max continuous operating temperature 65 oC
-Max intermittent operating temperature 72 oC
PETG sheets are widely used in various fields such as signage, furniture, indoor construction, decoration, food and medical packing, etc.
